Race of Champions Competitors to Sign Autographs at 32nd Annual Syracuse Motorsports Expos
SYRACUSE, NY – Several Race of Champions Series Champions and competitors along with stars from the Sodus Microd Club will take part in autograph session during the 32nd Annual Syracuse Motorsports Expo on Saturday, March 10 at 3:00pm. The 32nd Annual Syracuse Motorsports Expo takes place at the New York State Fairgrounds on Saturday March 10 and Sunday, March 11.
The Saturday, March 10 autograph session will feature several stars of the Race of Champions Asphalt Modified Series program including Mike Leaty of Williamson, N.Y., who is the 2017 series champion. Leaty will be joined Tommy Catalano of Ontario, N.Y., who was voted the Most Popular Driver in the Modified Series in 2017 as well as earning the Sportsman Modified and Late Model Series championships. Amy Catalano of Ontario, N.Y., one of the most popular racers in the region along with 2018 Rookie-of-the-Year candidate Kreig Heroth of Fort Plain, N.Y., will join in on the festivities. Tim Gullo of Elmira, N.Y., the reigning Race of Champions Super Stock Series champion and Kevin Timmerman of Walworth, N.Y., will be on hand to take part in the session.
Also joining the autograph session will be young Andrew Lewis of Ontario, N.Y., and some of his fellow Microd racers from the Sodus Microd Club. The Sodus Microd Club provides young racers a place to develop and learn skills that will advance their interest in auto-racing.
The Race of Champions will have Heroth’s new SPAFCO Chassis machine on display as well as Timmerman’s Troyer Chassis Sportsman Modified and Gullo’s Championship winning Super Stock as well Lewis’ Microd. Information from the Race of Champions family of Series will be available as well as representatives and information from the Sodus Microd Club.

The Race of Champions is a sanctioning body presenting Modified and Stock Car racing on asphalt and dirt surfaces throughout the Northeast, with events in New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The 68th annual Race of Champions weekend will take place in 2018 in North East, Pennsylvania at Lake Erie Speedway and is the second longest consecutive auto-racing event in North America, second only to the Indianapolis 500.

SYRACUSE, NY – The tradition continues! The 32nd Annual Syracuse Motorsports Expo is set for March 10th and 11th at the Center of Progress Building located on the New York State Fairgrounds. Under new promotions from Jeremie Corcoran, the successful Exposition and Trade Show is full steam ahead!.
“I approached the Patrick family about taking over the show several years ago and now they feel the time is right. I just can’t be more thankful to Joey, Norm, Donna and everyone else, they have been tremendous in the helping me,” Corcoran went on, “This is a great show, they have done such a good job with it for so long it makes it so much easier for me to continue on what they have set as the standard.”
Ferris Mowers and VP Racing Fuels has already signed on as title sponsors of the two-day event. Super Gen Products/Champion Generators will sponsor the best appearing display with more marketing partners being sought out to make the show even larger for 2018.
The show annually kicks off the racing season in Upstate NY and surrounding areas. Track schedules are ready to hand out at their various booths, new cars from the fans favorite drivers are debuted and so much more for the fans of all ages.

Corcoran is just coming off a hugely successful Northeast Racing Products Auction and Trade Show at the very same building in November where booth spaced was sold out. He is working hard to keep the momentum to the Motorsports Expo in March.
